ESS is capable of both hardware design and software development, testing and verification. Our focus is on custom tools required for your product development needs such as interface simulators and custom bus instruments. We are also available for development of controllers as sub-assemblies at a tier 2 or lower supplier level.
Our project experience has primarily been with Motorola HC05, HC08, HC11 and HC12, Microchip PIC18 and Rabbit2000 (Zilog Z80 derivative) platforms utilized for automotive related support tools. Serial interface experience has been with UART, Keyword 82, Keyword 2000, GM-CL2, GM-LAN and CAN protocols.
